 Founded by students and a concerned parent

Ayride was founded from humble beginnings in 2018 by two sisters who didn’t have transportation to get around their college community safely and for a low cost. Getting a taxi or a ride share car after a football game was way too expensive for the college students; so they would have to walk back to their dorm. 
When they could afford a ride share ride, they were scared because of the hundreds of stories of students being assaulted.  The sisters wished that they had another option. Going to school far away from their dad and family was scary enough. Getting into a car with a stranger took it to a new level. 
The girls told their dad their concerns and because there were no other options... they created one.
 Ayride was born 
Students book rides and are driven by fellow students. No more booking rides with unknown strangers. No more walking because you can't pay surge and prime rates charges.
